Taito Egret II Mini is coming in 2022

This mini version of Taito’s arcade games will cross the pond and reach new markets.
United Games Entertainment, in collaboration with Taito, Inin Games, and Strictly Limited Games, announced today that the Taito Egret II small, a home version of the legendary arcade cabinet, will be available in North America and Europe in 2022. The rights to market and sell the iconic arcade cabinet mini to the Western audience have been bought by a German media publishing business.
After the Germans established a good relationship with the Japanese company Taito by distributing the company’s games to the western public, the arrival of the Taito Egret II mini confirms the great work that both Inin Games and Strictly Limited Games have been doing, this time with the opportunity to bring arcade versions of games such as Space Invaders, Bubble Bobble, and many others.
Play arcade classics from the comfort of your home.

For those who are unfamiliar, the Egret II small is a faithful shrunken replica of the original, successful arcade cabinet Taito Egret II, bringing a lot of exclusive content and features that are a must-have for many vintage game aficionados, and gamers searching for a fresh experience in video games.
This little arcade comes with 40 pre-installed games, including classics like Space Invaders, Lunar Rescue, Bubble Bobble, Darius Gaiden, and many more, that may be played on a 5-inch 4:3 rotating screen, horizontal and vertical alignment, and best adaption to the selected game.
We will be able to install more games through SD card, link the arcade cabinet to the TV via the HDMI connector, and attach the tiny controllers (sold separately) via the two USB type-A ports.
A fantastic way to conclude the year, building anticipation for what Taito and United Games Entertainment have in store for next year. More info about the Egret II mini will be shared by the German media publisher in the future.
