Tekken 7 sales top 10 million units, Patch 5.10 includes new Streaming Mode

In addition to passing a sales milestone, Tekken 7 just got a new update.

Bandai Namco revealed today that they have sold more than 10 million units of Tekken 7 globally. In addition to Tekken 7 sales info, they also announced that a new update is out today. Version 5.10 patch includes a number of new features including Streaming Mode, new customization items, and enhancements to character selection.

Below we have some more details on the new modes and features in Version 5.10. The new patch is available now for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is also playable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S thanks to backward compatibility.

Streaming Mode

Streaming Mode is now available in the Game Options. When Streaming Mode is switched on, the online ID/Gamertag of the opponent on the VS screen and the battle screen in Ranked Match, Player Match, and Quick Match will change to the character name.

New Customization Items and Expanded Character Selection

A range of new customization items is available in the Character Panel Set. On the Character Selection screen, players can now save their favorite character and costume combination and select it with one button. Also added is a feature that remembers the last costume that was selected within each play session. 

Modified Tournament Settings

New modifications to Tournament Settings are now available in Game Options. When Tournament Settings are switched on, players will not be able to use the following character selection features in Versus Battles: “Favorite” settings, character costume selection, or last costume saved.

Updated Connection Status Info Display

Changes to the connection status info display include the addition of information showing the processing load of the PCs used in the match as well as text formatting enhancements.
