Test Drive Unlimited Coming to PC, PS2, PSP, 360

Atari today announced that Test Drive Unlimited is coming to the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable, in addition to the Xbox 360 and the Windows platform. Packed with many of the world’s most luxurious vehicles, more than one thousand miles of open Hawaiian roads, a challenging single player game and a host of online options, Test Drive Unlimited is M.O.O.R.: Massively Open Online Racing – the ultimate online automotive gaming experience. All four platforms are scheduled for a fall 2006 release.

Currently in development by Melbourne House, the versions of Test Drive Unlimited for the PlayStation 2 and PSP retain most of the core gameplay features of the Xbox 360 and PC games, including endless miles of streaming Hawaiian roads, server-based online play, over 70 luxury supercars, multiplayer and single-player modes, player-created races, car upgrades and downloadable content. The PSP system version is one of the first-ever genuinely online games for the handheld, making impressive use of wireless and stepping way beyond simple LAN gaming. In addition, enhancements have been made to the single player game with an Arcade Race mode for snack-sized play.
