Tetragon, an indie puzzle-adventure, is coming soon to PC and consoles

Tetragon

Unravel the mysteries of a mysterious square universe and experiment with gravity in Tetragon, a new game from independent firm Cafundo Creative Studio that will be released next month

Tetragon, the next puzzle-adventure by Cafundo Creative Studio, will be released on PC and consoles on August 12th, according to Buka Entertainment. Players will step into the tattered boots of the woodsman Lucios and go across four strange and impressionistic realms in search of his missing kid.

Lucios’ quest to find his son

Tetragon began in 2014 as a small, independent project created by a handful of friends. The concept at the time was to develop something new from the conventional puzzle games, rearranging gameplay and story to produce a more engaging product.

After a few years of inactivity, it wasn’t until 2017 that Alexandre Chaves, game designer and developer, teamed with Cafundo Creative Studio and started creating the game, and now here we are, years later, with Tetragon on the horizon.

The quest for Lucios takes him to Tetragon, a mysterious place between worlds and a prison for an old evil. Lucius gets the ability to alter the world around him by harnessing the power of a primordial magic known as the TetraGen, changing the stones that make up this realm and twisting gravity itself to navigate the labyrinth in unusual and inventive ways.

Tetragon is a puzzle game with over forty levels spread over four mystical settings. It has deep riddles, a compelling story, and a stunning painting visual. Discover the mysteries of this universe by manipulating its mechanics, redirecting gravity, and shifting the ground and walls around you to build new climbing routes.

Tetragon will be available for $14.99 on August 12 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Those who want to dive into this mysterious universe may do so right now with a playable demo accessible on Steam, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, as well as Xbox Series X|S consoles and PlayStation 5 through backward compatibility.
