When Tetris 99 comes to Switch as a physical release, it will include 12 full months of Nintendo Switch Online, Nintendo’s online gaming service.
Tetris 99 is a battle royale puzzle game. It has you duke it out with 98 other players in a last-player-standing battle. There’s also a 49 versus 49-player team mode, local multiplayer, and single-player.
Since Nintendo now requires Nintendo Switch Online to play online, it’s convenient that a year of the service comes with the game. Nintendo Switch Online normally retails for $19.99 a year.

Tetris 99 is already out for Switch Online subscribers. The physical version of the game with the 12-month online subscription launches on September 6 for $29.99.
