The Ascent is a new action-oriented sci-fi RPG coming to Xbox Series X as well as PC and Xbox One.
Set in a free-roaming cyberpunk dystopia, players will customize their character with cyberwear and augmentations. The Ascent utilizes classic RPG mechanics and looting. And you won’t have to play alone, although you can. The game features a single-player story and up to four-player co-op.
Curve Digital is the publisher. The new Swedish studio Neon Giant is the developer. Neon Giant consists of an 11-person development team with AAA experience on titles such as the Bulletstorm, Gears of War, and Wolfenstein franchises. So it seems to have talent behind it.
