The developers behind The Callisto Protocol are going to give us the first gameplay demo next week.
After making waves at yesterday’s PlayStation State of Play, The Callisto Protocol is ready to make some more noise. The first gameplay demo is set to debut during Summer Game Fest.
The Callisto Protocol is an upcoming survival horror game from Striking Distance Studios. It’s scheduled for release on December 2, 2022. The single-player story-focused game is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Striking Distance Studios founder and CEO Glen A. Schofield will join Geoff Keighley at Summer Game Fest on June 9. The event is streaming at 2 PM Eastern at summergamefest.com and live in select IMAX theaters across the country.
If The Callisto Protocol gives off strong Dead Space vibes for you (it certainly does for me), that’s at least partially because it comes from the creator of Dead Space (which is getting a remake). In fact, it looks like the Dead Space Remake will basically go head to head with The Callisto Protocol as they are expected to launch within months of each other.
Next Thursday, see the first gameplay demo of @CallistoTheGame when @glenschofield joins @geoffkeighley LIVE at #SummerGameFest
