The Game Awards will host its annual show live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 12, 2019.
The Game Awards is an annual awards ceremony honoring achievements in the video game industry. The ceremonies also feature the premieres of new titles, an in-depth look at previously-announced games, and appearances from developers and industry leaders.
The Game Awards 2019 will be livestreamed for free on more than 45 different platforms around the world and at thegameawards.com.

The Game Awards is the successor to the Spike Video Game Awards, which ran for over ten years until it was dropped in 2014. In response, host Geoff Keighley started The Game Awards, which is now in its sixth year.
