Sony has announced release dates for two major upcoming PS4 exclusives: The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima.
First up, we have the new date for the highly-anticipated The Last of Us Part II, which has been delayed twice this year. The new release date is now set for June 19. So if this one sticks, the delay will not have been all that significant.
Meanwhile, Ghost of Tsushima is coming on July 17. The action-adventure game is set in an open-world 13th century Japan. The game takes place on Tsushima Island, which is about halfway between mainland Japan and Korea. During this period, the island is fending off a Mongol invasion.
These are likely to be among the final AAA releases on PS4. And they’re both coming from marquee studios. Sucker Punch is developing Ghost of Tsushima. Naughty Dog is responsible for The Last of Us Part II.
