Ports made by fans in Unreal Engine 5 do not stop appearing

Already seen the fan-made port in Unreal Engine 5 of GTA: San Andreas, and the Halo map, a new port comes to light. We do not know if it is a fashion of the moment, or more and more developers are venturing into the new game engine of Epic Games. What we do know is that all ports made by fans of great titles like the one that has arrived today are welcome.

If we talk about Unreal Engine 5, the least that comes to mind is Nintendo. Well, today a port of a Nintendo classic has come to the forefront. YouTube user “CryZENx”, has recently shared his new port of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time to Unreal Engine 5.

A quality port to Unreal Engine 5

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is sporting graphical muscle in the community’s latest work. As we have already mentioned, CryZENx has been encouraged to remake the Nintendo classic using Unreal Engine 5. All the visual potential is present: Lumen, DLSS support and ray tracing. The result? One of the best ports that have been made recently.

Previously, CryZENx had ported the game to Unreal Engine 4. But thanks to the popularity of Epic Games’ latest engine, and that porting from Unreal Engine 4 to 5 is not complicated, they made the decision to port the game. From a post on his Patreon page, the developer comments, “I finally ported it to Unreal Engine 5 and I don’t regret it at all. There are a multitude of new features that can speed up development. I can’t wait to make use of them”.

Given the ease of moving it to the next generation, we can now see it as it makes use of the latest technologies. He warns that those with NVIDIA RTX graphics will be able to receive “up to 20%” extra performance without losing graphics quality. Currently the author offers a playable demo of the Temple of Time exactly like the one seen in the teaser.

It should be noted that the game demo is not free. CryZENx allows the download of the demo after a small donation on their Patreon website. If you want to give a chance to this demo of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and support the creator, you can access his patreon by clicking here.
