Warner Bros. Games and Turtle Rock Studios released a new Back 4 Blood teaser today, showcasing their upcoming co-op zombie shooter’s Ridden-slaying action on PC.

The new video highlights several features that will be available on the PC version of the game at launch, including 4K resolution, uncapped framerate, NVIDIA Deep Learning Super Sampling, or DLSS, ultrawide and multi-monitor support, cross-play, and a variety of other graphics and visual quality options.

Back 4 Blood is a first-person co-op zombie shooter from the critically popular Left 4 Dead genre that boasts thrilling, dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay and highly changeable, customizable action that will have players coming back for more.

The game narrative takes place after a cataclysmic epidemic, in which the parasitic Devil Worm has either killed or infected the majority of humanity. A gang of apocalyptic veterans known as the Cleaners have banded together to take on the diseased creatures known as the Ridden and recover the planet, hardened by horrific experiences and empowered to fight for the remains of mankind.

Back 4 Blood Open Beta

Back 4 Blood Open Beta will begin with an Early Access period for individuals who pre-order the game from August 5-9. Players may also register here for a chance to get into the Early Access segment; however, please keep in mind that this step does not guarantee entry into the Early Access because codes are limited; nonetheless, it’s not a terrible idea to give it a go!

The Open Beta will be open to all participants from August 12 to 16. Both Open Beta sections will be playable on Xbox Series X|S consoles, Xbox One consoles, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC, including cross-play and cross-gen support.

Back 4 Blood will be released on October 12, 2021 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One Consoles, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Pre-orders will provide access to the Open Beta’s Early Access section from August 5-9, as well as a bonus Fort Hope Elite Weapon Skin Pack.
