The hit sci-fi role-playing game The Outer Worlds will be released on the Switch early next year.
The Outer Worlds was already announced for Switch back in July. This announcement – which was made during an investor call – just narrows the release window to early 2020.
The Outer Worlds is a single-player story-based RPG set in a future where megacorporations have begun terraforming and colonizing alien worlds. Your ship has gone astray, leaving you and your crew abandoned in the furthest reaches of colonial space.

The Nintendo Switch version is being developed by Virtuos. The game is already out for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It is receiving mostly positive reviews from critics, averaging an 85 out of 100 on OpenCritic.
