Since we’re already living in The Upside Down, it only makes sense that Sonic the Hedgehog is now a talking humanoid, Jim Carrey is Dr. Robotnik, and “Gangster’s Paradise” is apparently the lead song on the soundtrack.
Why not, though, right? It’s 2019. A lot weirder stuff has happened since a reality TV star, whose fan club includes both Kanye West and David Duke, became president.
Still, the first official trailer for the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie is… weird AF. Just watch:
