Starcourt Mall coming to Roblox in new Stranger Things crossover

Roblox Stranger Things

With the new collaboration between Roblox and Stranger Things, you can play as a Demogorgon and visit iconic locations from the Netflix series.

This year’s collaborations are many, which we like. As is customary in the industry these days, Roblox is combining two protagonists or characters to create a one-of-a-kind universe that all video game players may enjoy. Sonic coming to Minecraft, Mario and Sonic making a comeback with the Olympic games due to their suspension last year, the massive amount of crossovers that Fortnite has brought us this year, or Aloy coming to Genshin Impact; collaborations are all over the place.

Now, both Roblox and Stranger Things have crossed paths to provide an ideal experience for Netflix series fans: a Starcourt Mall adaptation based on the 1980s-inspired hit television series.

The Roblox adaptation of Starcourt allows us to decorate our avatar with Stranger Things-specific elements, as well as up to four mini-games. The Starcourt Mall became very important during the third season, and we can now enjoy it in its entirety.

Demogorgon’s costumes and accessories such as Dustin’s hat and Eleven’s cape are among the available accessories. For the mini-games, there will be a game of cat and rat, another where you will have to pull the dice in turns against another player, a punter’s demonstration with the slingshots, and a test where you will have to demonstrate how fast you can throw all the ice-creams through the building.

Roblox provides a platform where creativity and storytelling come to life, which is what makes it such a natural fit for Netflix and Stranger Things,” said Chris Lee, head of interactive games at Netflix.
