The Warriors: Street Brawl Fights Its Way on Xbox Live

Paramount Digital Entertainment today announced that The Warriors: Street Brawl is now available for download on Xbox Live Arcade for the Xbox 360, just in time to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the cult-classic film, “The Warriors.” Players can step into the role of a Warrior and brawl their way through gang-infested New York City trying to make it all the way back to Coney Island. In conjunction with the game release, Paramount Digital Entertainment has also launched The Warriors: Street Brawl Facebook app which allows users to challenge their friends and compete to determine who is the true Overlord of New York.

“Fans of ‘The Warriors’ can now become XBLA’s most notorious Warchief as they lead the ruthless action that made the film a cult classic,” said John Kavanagh, senior vice president, video games, Paramount Digital Entertainment. “The Warriors: Street Brawl is an old-school brawler done right — players can pick up and play this game and experience the story they love with gameplay and art design that truly revives the retro-feel of the film.”
