THQ will be releasing a sequel to 2004’s Full Spectrum Warrior military-simulator, the company said today in a press release. Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers is scheduled to release this winter on the PC, PlayStation 2, and Xbox platforms. The game will take the original concept, while integrating an all new multi-player, and enhanced enemy A.I.

“The critical acclaim, commercial success and fan base for the Full Spectrum Warrior brand continues to grow, with the game reaching Platinum status on Xbox and the recent launch of the PlayStation 2 game,� said Peter Dille, senior vice president, worldwide marketing, THQ. “Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers is expected to have a simultaneous launch across all platforms, taking the brand to the next level with enhanced gameplay and intense online features.�

As the squad leader, players will coordinate the actions of infantry fire teams, leading them through hostile situations. 12 levels of intense action will be played out as gamers outsmart and outgun their computer opponents. Utilizing the latest military equipment, gamers will use tactics to eliminate their enemies. With an enhanced multiplayer mode, players can go online and battle friends through a variety of new head-to-head and co-op objective-based missions.
