Tiny Build has acquired three more indie studios, including the developer of Totally Reliable Delivery Service.
Among Tiny Build’s new indie game studios are:
- We’re Five Games (Totally Reliable Delivery Service)
- Hungry Couch (Black Skylands)
- Moon Moose (Cartel Tycoon)
The new studios join the ranks of Tiny Build’s other first-party developers. Previous acquisitions include the Dynamic Pixels dev team (Hello Neighbor), HakJak Studios (Guts & Glory and Pigeon Simulator), and Hologryph (co-developers of Party Hard 2 and Secret Neighbor).
The latest acquisitions bring the total number of Tiny Build-owned development studios to seven. This includes the Latvian Tiny Build Riga development team, which is currently working on Hello Engineer.
Totally Reliable Delivery Service downloads
Tiny Build also announced that Totally Reliable Delivery Service downloads have crossed 14 million and nearly 8 million hours played on Xbox alone. The game launched on April 1, 2020. It is included with Xbox Game Pass. A detailed breakdown of downloads for each platform was not provided.
Statement from the CEO
Alex Nichiporchik, CEO of tinyBuild, released the following statement regarding the studio acquisitions:
We believe that long-term thinking and long-term partnerships are the way to move forward for Tiny Build. With We’re Five, Hungry Couch, and Moon Moose all joining the orange family, our new first-party studios will have access to Tiny Build’s resources and funding while maintaining full creative control.
