A new 2D platformer known as Together is coming to Nintendo Switch tomorrow and other platforms later.
Together is a vibrant and colorful 2D platformer that focuses on cooperative gameplay. The game has a single-player option as well as a two-player local co-op option. The developers have created a colorful world that has been drained of its colors by the terrible Mona Chrome. The player’s mission is to modify each stage and recolor the globe.
“Together is a title that works best when you cooperate with others – either with friends and family,” says Rafał Jelonek, COO at Ultimate Games. “Four different difficulty levels allow you to adjust the game to your current needs. So the gameplay may be relatively undemanding or pose a considerable challenge.”
Aside from the core concept of coloring the dismal environment and the rope mechanics, the creators have also concentrated on caricatured characters with distinctive abilities and a heavy dose of light comedy.
“As the name suggests, Together focuses on cooperation. During the game, two players are connected by a rope and achieving the goals requires constant and skilful cooperation,” says Jakub Wolff, CEO at The Dust. “The rope also helps during combat and while the characters may get disconnected, it cannot last longer than five seconds.”
The digital launch of Together on the Nintendo Switch is scheduled for June 16, 2021. Later, it will also hit PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
