Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 lands on Nintendo Switch this summer

Generations of gamers have played Tony Hawk games since the late ’90s. Many of us spent hours looking up all the SKATE letters and connecting trick after trick to pull off one hell of a combo.
We can’t say the same for younger generations. That’s why Vicarious Visions and Activision released a remake of two of their flagship games that changed the game to hook these generations that were not lucky enough to grow up playing these classics.
It was the first title in the series after 2015’s disappointing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5. They made up for it by remastering the first two installments in the saga in great detail. Fans replied, making it the franchise’s fastest-selling title, selling over 1 million copies in just a few days.
Landing on Switch
Now, Nintendo fans are about to get their hands on the critically acclaimed Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 as the game releases on June 25 for the Nintendo Switch. Fans are in for a great time as Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 is a faithful remaster of the first two classic games in the series. It includes all of the original levels, as well as contemporary skaters (who grew up playing those games) and all of the tricks to learn.
It brings on-the-go action to the next level as the first Tony Hawk Pro Skater title to debut on Switch. Pre-orders for the game are now available from select retailers.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 combine all of the original levels, pro skaters, old-school tricks, a killer soundtrack of old and modern beats, and more that gamers recall from the ’90s and ’00s with new, wonderfully recreated levels. It is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
