Top PS5 and PS4 downloads on PlayStation Store in 2022
Sony has released the full list of the top downloads on the PlayStation Store in 2022. This includes both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 games.
You may recall that NBA 2K22 took the top spot in 2021 on the PS5 charts. This year, NBA 2K23 fell to third place. The top spot belongs to a familiar franchise: Call of Duty. That’s right. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II beat out the PlayStation-exclusive God of War Ragnarök for the top spot.
Meanwhile, the PlayStation 4 charts were considerably less interesting. The top three are composed of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Grand Theft Auto V, and Minecraft. God of War Ragnarök placed ninth as gamers showed a clear preference for the PS5 version. Game of the Year winner Elden Ring placed fourth on both the PS5 and PS4 charts.
