This week’s Topic of the Week comes from the rumor mill. Sony is reportedly going to release a cheaper-to-make and streamlined PS3 known popularly as the PS3 Slim. First there were box shots that leaked to the Internet. Then Best Buy, in a possible move to clear out stock, bundled Metal Gear Solid 4 and Killzone 2 with a new 80GB PS3 for $400. Finally, a video surfaced on YouTube reportedly showing a shop owner selling the system in the Philippines. Does it all add up to an imminent announcement from Sony?
