Total War: Shogun 2 is free right now on Steam

Total War: Shogun 2

Sega is giving away free copies of Total War: Shogun 2 on Steam in an effort to encourage fans to stay home.

Of course, Shogun 2 is a pretty old game now. It was released back in 2011 from Creative Assembly. However, it received favorable reviews. It’s currently averaging a 90 out of 100 on Metacritic.

The strategy game is part of a long line of entries in the Total War franchise. It is set in 16th-century Japan, which is a nice break from other Total War games, which have mostly been set in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.
