Touch Type Tale is a real-time strategy game with a typing twist.
Publisher Epic Games and developer Pumpernickel Studio today announced the strategic typing game Touch Type Tale. It’s coming to PC exclusively via Epic Games Store in early 2023.
Touch Type Tale is a unique fusion of typing and real-time strategy games. In the single-player campaign, players can hunt and peck at their peril in competitive battles or in a race to claim the top spot on the leaderboards. The game is the winner of Develop: Brighton’s Indie Showcase.
“A young hero named Paul discovers that the power to command armies and beat back invaders is literally at his fingertips,” Pumpernickel Studio says. “Players help Paul tap into the power of typing, using their nimble digits to strategically place and lead warriors in battle, mine for resources, and tend to farmlands.”
Pumpernickel Studio is an indie game studio made up of three passionate developers located in Germany. The focus of the studio lies in streamlined strategy games with innovative game mechanics. Touch Type Tale is Pumpernickel Studio’s debut project.
