Townscaper launches on Switch and PC

Townscaper

After a good while on Steam Early Access and a Gamescom appearance, Townscaper is out now.

Townscaper is an Oskar Stålberg and Raw Fury town-building game. It is now available on the Nintendo Switch and PC. Previously accessible only in early access, everyone can now experience this captivating and user-friendly town-builder at home or on the move.

It’s never been easier to build your own town. Simply choose a color, place some blocks on the uneven grid, and watch as the game’s underlying algorithm transforms those blocks into adorable tiny cottages, arches, stairways, bridges, and lush gardens based on their arrangement.

The game has received largely excellent feedback for its basic principles, contemplative gameplay, and beautiful graphics throughout its Steam Early Access stay.

There is no plot, no unlockables, and no stages to complete – just the relaxing sound of laying down colorful building blocks and the joy of seeing them seamlessly connect to form an ocean-side village. Create charming island settlements with winding streets. Create tiny hamlets, soaring sky cities, towering cathedrals, and canal networks block by block.

Townscaper is now officially available for $5.99 on the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, GOG.com, and the Epic Games Store.
