Transformers Smite crossover Event

Optimus Prime will team up with Megatron to take on the gods in Smite!

Today Hasbro along with Hi-Rez and Titan Forge Games announced at Pulse Con the new event that Smite will receive next month. Autobots and Decepticons will arrive in the universe of the gods to battle to the death in the new Transformers x Smite crossover event.

A clash of robots and gods

As top-of-the-line god skins available with the Transformers Battle Pass, players will be able to battle as iconic and infamous robots Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Starscream. Optimus Prime can transform into a truck, Megatron into a tank, and Starscream into a jet in the game. Each Transformer will have two forms: one in the Smite art style, and the other inspired by the Transformers Generations toys, TV shows, and films, transporting fans back in time.

“There’s something magical about having Optimus Prime save the day on the Battleground of the Gods,” said Alex Cantatore, Hi-Rez VP of Brand.

“We’ve always said that Smite is the ultimate crossover game, bringing all the world’s myths together. Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Starscream just take that to another level,” he added.

After purchasing the Transformers Battle Pass, players will be able to progress through it and unlock its rewards by simply playing online Smite matches. In addition to the six Transformers skins, fans will receive dozens of thematic items designed in collaboration with Hasbro, such as a Kremzeek-themed ward skin, a loading frame pitting Autobots against Decepticons, and Cybertron-inspired Level-Up effects.

The Transformers Battle Pass will be available next month for purchase in Smite. The full reveal of the crossover event and skins will be revealed in the Smite Update Show, which will air on the game’s official Twitch channel on October 27.
