Academy Award-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro has struck gold again. His Netflix series Trollhunters has proven to be a hit with viewers and critics alike. Now the Emmy-winning Dreamworks animated series is getting a video game called Trollhunters: Defenders of Arcadia.
If you’re unfamiliar, it’s part of the Tales of Arcadia trilogy. Trollhunters, 3Below, and a new series, Wizards – which launches later this year on Netflix – make up the universe. Meanwhile, Trollhunters: Defenders of Arcadia, tells a brand-new story within the trilogy. It takes place between the three distinct worlds and unifies them.
Game developer Wayforward is leading the project. The game features an all-star cast that includes original voice actors from the show. Contributing their talents are Emile Hirsch, Charlie Saxton, Lexi Medrano, and David Bradley.

Fans can expect the new platform action-adventure to hit PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on September 25.
