Twitch adds animated emotes

Twitch is celebrating its tenth anniversary with a gift for creators: animated emotes.
Animated emotes are rolling out for all partners starting today. You can access them via the Emotes page. The company says that they hope to roll out the features to all affiliates before the end of the year.
“We know it takes time to create the perfect emote. We want Animated Emotes to be extra fun, not extra work,” Twitch says in a blog post. “Creators will be able to upload custom GIFs to animated slots, or easily add one of six animations to an existing emote. If you’re looking for an emote to start with, you can always select from these default emotes.”
Rave it. Spin it. Roll it. Shake it. Slide it.
