Ubisoft hosting Far Cry 6 charity livestream for Extra Life

Ubisoft is hosting a Far Cry 6 charity livestream today.

In a matter of minutes, the French company Ubisoft will launch a charity livestream on YouTube and Twitch called the Extra Life Charity Stream. The Ubisoft team is raising funds for the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, and what better way to raise funds for charity than by playing one of the latest titles from the French developer, Far Cry 6.

All for a good cause

The Extra Life Charity Stream is accompanied by Far Cry 6 cooperative donation incentives such as giving people all pets, weapon selection, sniper challenges, activating friendly fire and going head-to-head, and much more. This should result in an entertaining stream that will be enjoyed by both gamers and people who simply want to help a worthy cause.

For those who are unaware, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital treats all children, regardless of their families’ capacity to pay. Extra Life, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals program, raises crucial funds for life-saving treatment, care, and research.

If you haven’t played Far Cry 6 yet, the game launched last month on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. We gave it a mostly positive review. “Far Cry 6 is sure to please long-time series veterans and newcomers alike. It just doesn’t break any new ground,” Kyle wrote in his review.

How to watch and donate

If you want to watch the live stream, we have the video embedded below. It’s also available on YouTube and Twitch. You can also help the cause with a donation.
