Early this morning, Ubisoft’s YouTube channel began teasing the next chapter in the company’s long-running Assassin’s Creed franchise.
The video is simple. It shows a work-in-progress piece of concept art from the game. But as you can see from the embedded video below, the art is changing. That’s because the artist Bosslogic is working on the piece in Photoshop and streaming it.
Super excited to reveal what I have been working on for the past few months with @Ubisoft! Make sure to tune into @assassinscreed for a very first look and catch the entire process live at (https://t.co/pUuNj9GgpJ) pic.twitter.com/W5hU5TiSbh

We don’t officially know anything about the upcoming game, but we’ve heard rumors that it will have a Viking setting. The ships and shields from the concept art certainly suggest that Norsemen will be included, whether or not they are the central focus of the story.
Being a teaser, we’re not expecting to hear any major details today. So it’ll be interesting to learn in the weeks and months to come how far along the game is and what platforms is planning to release the game on.
UPDATE: Ubisoft confirms Assassin’s Creed Valhalla with the full reveal scheduled for tomorrow.
