Ultimate Rivals: The Rink features star athletes LeBron James, Megan Rapinoe, and more

You may not have heard of Ultimate Rivals: The Rink – a new, fast-paced 2v2 hockey game. More interestingly, though, it features many of today’s top athletes from across several different sports, both men and women.
For the first time, female athletes can compete against, or alongside, male athletes. The game features female soccer stars Megan Rapinoe, Alex Morgan, and Carli Lloyd. You’ll also be able to play as WNBA stars Diana Taurasi, Skylar Diggins-Smith, and Elena Delle Donne.
The female athletes can compete with or team up with the likes of LeBron James, Russell Wilson, Mookie Betts, Mike Trout, and Alex Ovechkin. For example, Megan Rapinoe can team up with LeBron James to take on a team featuring Diana Taurasi and Clayton Kershaw.
In another first, Ultimate Rivals: The Rink has star athletes from all the major sports leagues. Developer Bit Fry has secured licensing agreements with nine major professional sports organizations, including the NHL, NHL Players’ Association, NBA, National Basketball Players Association, MLB, MLB Players Association, NFLPA, Women’s National Basketball Players Association, and USWNTPA. It also has hockey legend Wayne Gretzky.
Ultimate Rivals: The Rink actually already launched, but it went under the radar. It is available now as part of Apple Arcade. So if you’re a subscriber, you may want to check it out.
