Warframe Xbox Series X|S enhancements and Call of the Tempestarii are finally here

Warframe Xbox Series X|S enhancements and Call of the Tempestarii

Warframe‘s official Xbox Series X and S enhancements are out now, as well as a new free game update, Call of the Tempestarii.

If you haven’t heard, Warframe is getting a major update for the Xbox Series X and S, as well as a new free game campaign known as Call of the Tempestarii.

The Xbox Series X enhancements for Warframe are now available and bring some interesting new features. The first thing you’ll notice with this improved version is that Xbox Series X users will enjoy Warframe at 4K and 60fps. However, in addition to this basic improvement for next-gen hardware, work has been done to bring a new dynamic lighting engine, better rendering, and improved loading times.

And it is precisely the lighting and rendering that give the impression of a significant improvement over the previous generation. Rather than focusing on the fundamentals – such as increasing resolution or reaching 120 frames per second – Digital Extremes aimed to create a next-generation feel, implementing significant visual enhancements.

What you can expect with Series S

Now, while these features seem common to the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series S will target 60fps at 1080p, while also offering the same visual enhancements in lighting and rendering. So it’s not nearly as impressive as Series X. Still, Series S was not intended to output 4K resolution.

Call of the Tempestarii

If there’s one thing that makes you want to come back to Warframe, it’s not just the Warframe Xbox Series X and S enhancements that are already available. It’s also the Call of the Tempestarii update. It includes the addition of a new series of missions.

If you haven’t given Warframe a shot, this could be the perfect time to do it. The game is at its peak, and all this new content can give you an incredible gaming experience.
