Ubisoft has released a new hero, Warmonger, in its fantasy action game For Honor. Plus, a new free event pass is now live.
“Players can now unlock the Warmonger as a playable Hero. Her weapon, a flamberge, is a two-handed elegant, and deadly sword. Warmongers want to honor Apollyon’s legacy and start the Age of Tyranny,” the publisher says.
Warmonger is available to purchase from first-party stores for $7.99 as part of a package. It includes the new hero, one exclusive ornament, one elite outfit, and seven days of champion status. Players can also unlock the package in-game for 15,000 steel starting on August 20.
The release of Warmonger is part of the Year 4, Season 2 Title Update 2.0. Coinciding with the arrival of the new hero is a free Event Pass, which offers players exclusive rewards. All players can make their way through 35 tiers and earn unique rewards such as a new mood effect, ornament, battle outfit, and more. The event runs until August 27.
Lastly, For Honor is also releasing a major update to its core combat mechanics. Here are more details from Ubisoft:
Based on players’ feedback and following months of testing, this update aims at improving the consistency of the core combat experience and enhancing the viability of general offense across the entire set of attacks in the game, for all heroes.
