Watch the first gameplay trailer for Magic: Legends

The first gameplay trailer for Magic: Legends, the upcoming MMO based in the Magic the Gathering universe, is out now.

Magic: Legends is a free-to-play MMO action role-playing game coming to PC later this year. It will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One in 2021. Magic the Gathering publisher Wizards of the Coast licensed the game.

According to the developers, players will explore some of the franchise’s most iconic planes. You will also collect mana-based spells and gather the power needed to overtake your enemies during combat.

“Our entire team was overwhelmed by the incredible response we received from gamers and Magic: The Gathering fans when we announced Magic: Legends last month,” said Stephen Ricossa, the game’s executive producer. “We’re excited to reveal a first look at what makes this game truly special.”

The beta introduces two new Planeswalkers: the earth-shattering Geomancer and the psychic power-wielding Mind Mage. Beta testing kicks off this spring. Players can register now at playmagiclegends.com/beta.
