Wattam release date, price revealed for PC and PS4

A new creative dream-like sandbox adventure from the mind of Katamari Damacy creator Keita Takahashi is coming to PC and PS4 on December 17.

Wattam was first revealed during Sony’s State of Play in September. It is being billed as a “goof-around simulation” with over 100 wacky and carefree characters to encounter and befriend.

“See what kinds of silly things happen when you push the limits of the game’s physics and animations to create crazy and comical results. Solving puzzles, uncovering secrets and playing mini-games has never been weirder or more wonderful,” the developers say.

Wattam can be enjoyed either alone or with friends through couch co-op. The game even allows you to pop in and out of co-op, so joining a game doesn’t become a commitment.

The Mayor is your tour guide through the whimsical world of Wattam. You’ll dance, chase, climb, stack, float, explode and hold hands as the Mayor reunites with old friends and makes new ones.

Wattam is a digital-only release. It will retail for $16.99 on the PlayStation Store and Epic Games Store.
