Nintendo began to offer an Opera web browser for Wii on Friday. While the version available for download is free on the Wii Shopping Channel, it is just a trial version that allows you to browse any website you would like, as well as save favorites. I tested Game Freaks 365, Gmail and Myspace, and they all work perfectly with fast speeds and a decent quality picture.
Earlier this week Nintendo began offering its Wii Weather Channel service. This allows you to get your current local temperature, as well as the day’s forecast, tomorrow’s and a five day outlook. The great thing is you can get weather information for cities in every state, large or small, and international cities as well.
