It’s not a question that you probably ever asked before but one relevant to Half-Line Miami, a new fan-made project: “What if Half-Life 2 and Hotline Miami had a baby?”
Half-Line Miami takes the 2D top-down perspective of indie hit Hotline Miami and sets the game in Half-Life 2 locations. There are a total of eight separate levels — one dedicated to every region of Half-Life 2 — along with a level editor so that you can build levels to your heart’s content.
“I made this game as a declaration of my love for these two games, and as an experiment in game design,” says developer Thomas Kole.
And if you are wondering, yes, it comes with the gravity gun.
Best of all? It’s free! You can download the game at http://stabberthomas.itch.io/hlm
