In a cryptic image on their website, Kojima Productions is teasing their next project.
Hideo Kojima is a legend. The creator of Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding is apparently hard at work on his next game as the Kojima Productions website is teasing fans during Tokyo Game Show.
An image of a woman with the caption “Who am I?” is displayed on the page. There is no other information provided about the project, including whether it’s a Death Stranding sequel or an entirely new game.

That’s obviously not preventing rampant online speculation. Novice Gamer Guides writes:
Based on the outline, this appears to be a woman and since an earlier rumor suggested that Kojima Productions is working on a horror game with Margaret Qualley in the lead role, this could be it. The outline does match Margaret Qualley’s character that we saw in Death Stranding, but it could be an entirely different game instead of a sequel.
For their part, Kojima Productions confirmed on Twitter that they will not have any new game announcements during Tokyo Game Show, which is currently underway in Japan. However, given the teaser, an announcement may come sooner than later. If this is a new game, it will be Kojima’s second as an independent game studio without ties to Konami.
