World of Tanks is soon getting its biggest update ever with Modern Armor.

This colossal upgrade gives you access to an incredible array of modern weaponry, including the legendary American M1A2 Abrams and Russian T-72BU armored vehicles.

That’s only the tip of the iceberg. These awesome modern tanks will arrive on your console alongside four brand-new massive battlefield maps. Each of them is larger than any warzone previously encountered in the game.

Furthermore, players can dive into a brand-new 3D commander system that enables commanders to claim victory in the most courageous ways you’ve ever seen in the game.

New Modern Armor 

The addition of modern armor to World of Tanks changes the game significantly. As you advance your career, new progression paths are one of the elements added with these upgrades. The game should feel entirely new for those who haven’t touched the game in a while.

The main added content in this upgrade is the American line and Soviet line of tanks. The American line vehicles will culminate in the renowned M1A2 Abrams, a third-gen battle tank. Fans of the tanks will know how significant this addition is in the game.

Mannheim, the second map, “sets the stage for heated urban conflicts in which you’ll fight for control of key roads and points of interest.”

Dezful is a “major desert warzone with a colossal city at its center, where factions will vie for control in intense head-to-head conflicts.”

And last but not least, we have Fredvang, “where enemy tanks will fight for victory beneath the wintry beauty of the Northern Lights.”

New 3D Commander System

We told you this was a massive update, and there’s still something missing to talk about. It’s the new 3D Commander System. You’ll have access to a wide range of commanders to serve as your avatars and embody your unique battle strategy. Commanders are available in a variety of models. So there will be something for everyone.
