The wait for World War Z: Aftermath is over! The next evolution of Saber Interactive’s zombie shooter is here.
Saber Interactive announced today the release of their new chapter in the World War Z series, World War Z: Aftermath. Inspired by Paramount Pictures’ blockbuster film, Aftermath is the next evolution of the ultimate co-op zombie shooter from the American studio.
Aftermath finally arrives
We’ve been waiting for this new World War Z chapter for a long time, and despite the fact that we’ve already talked about it on Game Freaks 365, World War Z: Aftermath offers new ways to fight, new battles inspired by the film, a new deep progression of heroes with exclusive classes to this new version, and the classic multiplayer mode that we can now play.
World War Z: Aftermath is now available for $39.99 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store and Steam, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X backward compatibility.
Players who own the original World War Z may upgrade to Aftermath on their respective platforms for $19.99. For $49.99, you can get the Deluxe Edition, which includes two extra melee weapons — the Sledgehammer and Dual Cleavers — as well as the elaborate Explorer Weapon Skins Pack.
The game’s next-generation edition will be released in 2022 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a free upgrade and various improvements, including the new Horde Mode XL.
