Nacon has announced that Japan is the newest rally in the upcoming racing game WRC 9.
After previously announcing New Zealand and Kenya, Japan was revealed today in a brand-new trailer. It is the first time that the racing series will return to Japan since 2011.
“Players can enjoy the thrilling mountains and forests of the Aichi and Gifu districts, that will host the WRC season’s finale in November. Just like the real WRC drivers, in WRC 9 players can master the demanding course with its narrow asphalt roads and aggressive corners, while also navigating the lush environment which affects the driver’s visibility,” Nacon says.
WRC 9 is due to be released on September 3 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch at a later date. It is the official video game of the FIA World Rally Championship.
