Some Xbox 360 owners have complained that their pack-in hard drives included in the $400 Xbox 360 bundle did not amount to the 20GB advertised. In fact, only 13 of the 20 were available. IGN has learned that this is because of the included music videos, puzzle game, and emulators.
Microsoft said that, “Some space on the HDD is set aside to increase overall system functionality, including things like the Xbox emulator to enable backwards compatibility and console and title updates to allow for continued innovation and expansion of the console experience.” You of course have the option to delete any content on the hard drive in order to conserve space.
