January will be total arcade madness with the 4 games announced today.
With fewer than 20 days before the end of 2021 and a new year that promises a lot in the gaming business, Xbox is ahead of the competition by announcing the Games with Gold games that will be available for free on the Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass Ultimate online services in January.

Despite a regular stream of triple AAA titles, Xbox will take a break this month and pay respect to a style that harkens back to the golden age of video games in the arcades. The free Games with Gold January 2022 titles include two Xbox One games and two Xbox 360 games, which are as follows:
- NeuroVoider (January 1 to 31).
- Aground (from January 16 to February 15)
- Radiant Silvergun (from January 1 to January 15)
- Space Invaders Infinity Gene (from January 16 to 31)
As you can see, they are arcade games inspired by old 8 and 16-bit games. They may all be added to our library and played even if we do not have a current Xbox Live Gold membership. These four arcade games may not be the most impressive, but they will satisfy retro and shoot ’em up fans. They will be available for Xbox Live Gold members on the Xbox X|S Series and Xbox One in January.
