Xbox Games with Gold August 2023 lineup revealed
Microsoft has announced the Xbox Games with Gold July 2023 lineup. Microsoft is giving away two games as part of Xbox Games with Gold: Blue Fire and Inertial Drift. The company no longer gives away free Xbox and Xbox 360 games.
This is the final Xbox Games with Gold lineup. Microsoft has announced that Xbox Live Gold will become Xbox Game Pass Core. It is required to play most online multiplayer on Xbox.
The new Xbox Game Pass Core tier will also provide a small library of games, similar to the old PlayStation Plus Collection. Microsoft says that it will no longer provide free monthly games; Core will see games added once or twice a year.

The Xbox Live Games with Gold lineup is free for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
