When everyone was suspicious of Ubisoft, XDefiant arrived to change the narrative a bit. This frenetic FPS, which has already presented different tests on PC (closed and open), tries to compete with Call of Duty. However, we don’t have a confirmed release date yet. But today we have great news!

Ubisoft announced today that XDefiant will have a beta tomorrow for PC. A public beta session that will allow you to test everything the Ubisoft team has been working on for the last few months.

A very short beta

If you don’t know XDefiant yet, it is a frenetic FPS of factions that seeks to compete with the big ones in the industry. Beyond the titles released by Ubisoft, this is the first FPS of this style that they are launching. For this reason, many players were suspicious of the title when it was announced.

However, after the first open beta of the game, many players realized that for the first time in a long time, Ubisoft is doing things right. Also, the development team behind the title is very focused on getting things right. We have seen this through the updates they have been releasing throughout the development of the game.

That’s why the XDefiant team announced this week that players will be able to test the game once again. This Public Test Session (PTS) will take place on September 28th from 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET – 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET. However, even though the game will be released on both consoles and PC, this Public Test Session will only take place on PC. A decision that has caused dissatisfaction among gamers, but the team behind the title has explained why!

“The PTS will be a great opportunity for additional feedback before launch to help us continue to make the best experience possible. See you then!” said the development team in the PTS announcement. It should be noted to all users that the PTS will only last for 6 hours. However, more open betas or the extension of this beta are expected in the coming months. If you want to be part of the beta, you need to register here and if you are selected, you will be able to pre-download the game in advance.
