The XIII remake is out now, seventeen years after the original released on PS2, Xbox, and GameCube.
The shooter is based on a comic book of the same name. It stands as one of the best shooters of its time with unique cel-shaded graphics mimicking a comic. But will the remake hold up in 2020?
“With the power of a modern 3D engine, all of the game’s visual elements have been enhanced,” developer PlayMagic says. “XIII‘s detailed arsenal is also guaranteed to please the most demanding players and is delivered with gameplay improvements to surprise the veteran gamers familiar with the original game.”
The solo campaign has 34 levels spanning the globe. Plus, the remake also features four-player split-screen multiplayer. Watch the launch trailer below for a first glance at the local multiplayer mode!
