From Software has become very popular in recent years thanks to the Dark Souls saga, Elden Ring and Sekiro. However, there is a franchise forgotten by many that seeks to rise from the ashes like a phoenix. We’re talking about Armored Core with Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon.

Last year, From Software announced that a new Armored Core was in development. Beyond showing screenshots and a trailer earlier this year, FromSoftware had not shared raw gameplay footage. However, today they shared almost 5 minutes of gameplay footage!

The return of the mechas!

We all know how successful Souls-like games have been. However, From Software is not only that. The Japanese company has a very special love for Mechas. That’s why its Armored Core franchise is so beloved by everyone at the studio.

Beyond that, it’s a saga that doesn’t have the popularity of the developer’s other franchises. But, FromSoftware is looking to bring the Mecha genre to a wider audience with Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon.

This new game of Armored Core will be released in just under 2 months. And, fans of the franchise as well as many other gamers, are eager to know a little more about the game. Therefore, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have posted a surprise on their YouTube channel.

The companies have published a gameplay of just under 5 minutes showing different aspects of the game. Exploration, combat, mecha customization and incredible graphics. Undoubtedly a good taste of what awaits us this August 25 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox X Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
