The Nintendo Wii is about to launch on November 19, 2006. Between now and then, Game Freaks 365 is going to list 19 reasons each day for why you should buy a Wii. We aren’t playing favorites, but clearly Nintendo has been the underdog for a few years. Everyone likes to root for the underdog, right? Here’s reason #19 for why you should buy a Wii:
#19 Backwards Compatible with Nintendo GameCube – The GameCube might not be the best Nintendo console, but it has a solid library of over 600 games. Among the key exclusives are F-Zero GX, Eternal Darkness, Metroid Prime, Resident Evil, Super Mario Sunshine, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Animal Crossing, Luigi’s Mansion and Super Smash Bros. Melee. With the large amount of Wii launch titles and the massive collection of GameCube titles that are backwards compatible on the Wii, no gamer should get bored this holiday.
