Ubisoft announced that Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter released on Xbox 360 on March 8 achieved record sales for its first week of launch. In the North America, on top of record pre-order numbers at retail, the sell through amounted to over 240,000 units, making Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter Ubisoft’s fastest week 1 selling game ever on all platforms. In Europe, sell through amounted to 120,000 in just 3 days. The title was the fastest selling Xbox 360 game ever in France and Germany. These results are particularly high considering that the Xbox 360’s installed base amounts to 1,660,000 units in both America and Europe.
