Best Medium Armor Sets in Elden Ring

These are some of the best medium armor sets in Elden Ring that greatly balance protection, mobility, and of course, style. In all honesty, armor in FromSoftware games only matters moderately, and it ultimately comes down to style and personal preference. But everyone knows that a good set of armor just might be the difference between life and death.

Redmane Knight Set

Best Medium Armour Sets in Elden Ring

All the knight armour sets of Elden Ring are so beautifully created while remaining true to the real historical armour they were inspired by. I recommend reading my article about Elden Ring‘s best heavy armor as well.

Anyway, you can actually choose between any knight set (Redmane, Raya Lucaria, Mt. Gelmir, etc) depending on your tastes. They all have identical stats. These are well-balanced sets that will last you through the entire game. In order to obtain them, you must kill Redmane Knights in Caelid until they drop one.

Knight Set

This classic set of reliable armor is easy to obtain. You must interact with the Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable hold to buy it. It’s another beautiful set where you can see very intricate and beautiful, minimalistic engravings and designs when you look at them closely.

For Souls veterans, this set will be truly beloved because identical sets appeared in the Dark Souls games, as well. This is one of the best armor sets, in my opinion. Plus, the poise level of this set (51) is rather impressive for its weight.

Night’s Cavalry Set

This set is as black as the night. A very gloomy and enigmatic look can be obtained by donning this set.

Worn by the Night’s Cavalry enemies that roam the Lands Between at night, this particular set is located in the Consecrated Snowfield. Specifically, the dual Night’s Cavalry enemies will drop this upon their demise.

Here’s a tip for you: alter this armor to get a rather unique look while reducing its weight. I personally like the altered version better.

Maliketh’s Set

This is one of the most stylish sets in the game and it kind of resembles the Berserker armor of Guts from Berserk. It’s designed with plate upon plate of metal, and it provides considerable damage resistance. In order to obtain it, you must first defeat Maliketh and speak to Enia at the Roundtable hold to buy it.

Raging Wolf Set

This set of iconic armor that was shown in the trailers of Elden Ring was originally worn by Vargram, the Bloody Wolf. He was one of the first Tarnished to visit Roundtable. It’s my personal favorite armor set – or one of them, at least – solely because of how great it looks. To get it, you must pursue the quest line of Volcano Manor and fight Vargram.

Elden Ring is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
