Capcom Arcade Stadium: Ghosts ‘n Goblins is free on PlayStation Plus until June 1

Ghosts 'n Goblins

Today, it is relatively common to measure the difficulty of a game with the Dark Souls saga. But 30 years ago, when video games cost us patience and quarters, the benchmark was Ghosts ‘n Goblins. Playstation Plus users can download this gem through the Capcom Arcade Stadium on PS4 and PS5.

After passing through the Nintendo Switch, Capcom Arcade Stadium arcade games make their way to Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam with their proposal to offer a digital arcade. Capcom is betting on a free download system in which we will have the option to purchase three batches of games from the Osaka company.

Of course, the famous Ghosts ‘n Goblins is one of the titles that shine their light within Capcom Arcade Stadium. Especially when a plethora of gameplay and setting choices are offered and a feature that may or may not ensure our completion: the rewind function during the games.

However, this attractive offering has a time limit: we can only claim our copy of Ghosts ‘n Goblins for Capcom Arcade Stadium until June 1, 2021. With that, the countdown to adding it to your PlayStation game collection with the 100 percent PS Plus member discount has begun.

Capcom, for its part, isn’t skipping a beat. The Ghosts ‘n Goblins promotion not only coincides with the release of Capcom Arcade Stadium but also with the release of Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection, which will be available on PSN, Xbox, and Steam on June 1. The classic serves as a superb precursor to Sir Arthur’s new escapades.

There are many ways to celebrate a launch, and one of our favorites is to give away games, especially if they’re classics on par with Ghosts ‘n Goblins.
